Welcome to the Livejournal of Anne Elise Morrigan. I am a bi-sexual pagan faery girl. I am also a 30 year old fangirl of anime, manga, yaoi, and yuri, and I possess VERY strong opinions about movies, tv, music, culture, and what sucks and what doesn’t. Currently, I am working on a PhD in English, which will be finished… who honestly knows when.



The journal here is friends only and adults only (even though most of the adults who are my friends do NOT act their age, but neither do I). Frank discussions of important issues of the day are always welcomed, and they will be posted on… BUT THEY ALWAYS TAKE A BACK SEAT TO FANGIRLISM!!! Fangirlism, if of course, defined as “The general philosophy of being a fangirl.” That being said, politics, social issues, queer issues, religion, et al are topics you can expect to find here.



I have a lot of graphics I have “edited.” I drew none of them (I’m not that talented), so I have no ownership here, but if you like, take, and let people know where you got it and please credit. Check my scrapbook to see what I’ve done. I do make icons, banners, and journal designs for friends. If you’d like to see journals I’ve made you should look at the journals of: ssjbento, bluechaosmomma, jrkarsten, and nekofluff.

But it’s not all LJ, anime, manga, and fangirlism… the journal deals with food and drink, my struggles to get back into shape, the absurdity of the political process, and my day to day life (which is not glamorous or interesting, but at least it’s mine). I frequently post recipes and polls, youtube clips and pictures, memes and quizzes that are all floating around the net.

Ok, some rules:

1) This is a journal with adult themes. If you wanna be my friend, you must be over 18 and your birthday must be on your profile or I must personally know that you are over 18. Don't like that, too bad.

2) It’s my journal, not yours. You don’t like what I post, leave. Feel free to disagree with and debate me, but don’t EVER tell me or imply what I can and cannot or should and should not post.

3) DO NOT attack my friends on my journal. If you have a problem with someone who isn’t me, take it up with them off my journal. My friends are uber strong and can defend themselves, but I don’t want flame wars on my pages.

4) Homophobic or other discriminatory behavior will NEVER be tolerated. If you post it on my journal, you’re gone. If I see it on your journal, I’m gone. The exception to this rule is good sarcastic humor, but other then that, I don’t take this well.
